The LS factory Shop Manual devotes nearly 60 pages to small changes between the years. Most of it is not important to owner maintenance.

The biggest change that affected the ride was carb tweaking. U.S. issue bikes in the 80's had a #155 main and #47.5 pilot, a #125 throttle valve, and a 5C17 needle sliding in a an X6 jet. As of '95 things changed to a #145 main and #52.5 pilot, a #120 throttle valve, with a 5C39 needle sliding in a X7M jet. This leaner fuel flow works in conjunction with quieter (more restrictive) mufflers on the later bikes.

Oh, yes, they also added push-button turn signal cancelling on the 90's+ bikes.
